Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Song For Life ("we," "our," or "us"), governing your use of our website songfor.life and custom songwriting services. We are based in the State of Georgia, United States.

By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

Services Description

Song For Life provides custom songwriting and music production services. We create personalized songs based on the stories, memories, and details you provide. Our services include consultation, songwriting, production, and delivery of finished audio files and/or physical products depending on the package selected.

Ordering Process

Placing an Order

When you submit an order through our website, you are requesting our services. After submission, we will contact you within 24-48 hours to discuss your project. No payment is required at the time of order submission.

Consultation

We will conduct a consultation call to discuss your vision, answer questions, and ensure we understand your needs. Payment is only collected after we mutually agree on the project details.

Pricing and Payment

Deposit

A 50% deposit is required to begin work on your custom song. This deposit is non-refundable and covers the consultation and creative songwriting process.

Balance Payment

The remaining 50% balance is due upon your approval of the completed song. Final files and/or physical products will be delivered after the balance is paid in full.

Add-On Services

Add-on services (such as extra revisions, premium vocalist, or in-person vocal recording) are charged in addition to the base package price. Add-on costs will be clearly communicated before payment.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your credit card information on our servers.

Revisions and Approval

Included Revisions

Each package includes a specified number of revision rounds. Revisions allow you to request changes to lyrics, melody, arrangement, or production within the scope of the original project.

Additional Revisions

If you require revisions beyond those included in your package, additional revision rounds may be purchased at $150 per round.

Approval

Your feedback and approval are required to proceed through the revision process and finalize your song. Timely responses help us meet delivery timeframes.

Delivery

Digital Delivery

All packages include digital delivery of your finished song in MP3 and WAV formats. Files are delivered electronically via secure download link.

Physical Products

Packages that include physical items (such as framed lyric prints, USB drives, vinyl records, or gift boxes) will be shipped to the address you provide. Shipping times vary and are in addition to the production timeframe.

Delivery Timeframes

Estimated delivery timeframes are provided for each package and begin after the deposit is received. While we make every effort to meet these timeframes, delays may occur. We will communicate any significant delays promptly.

Refund Policy

The 50% deposit is non-refundable. This deposit covers the consultation and creative work invested in your project.

We are committed to your satisfaction and will work with you through the revision process to create a song you love. If, after all included revision rounds, you remain unsatisfied with the final product, you may choose not to proceed with the balance payment and will not receive the final deliverables. In this case, no refund of the deposit will be provided.

Intellectual Property

Ownership

Upon receipt of full payment, you receive a license to use your custom song for personal, non-commercial purposes. This includes playing the song at private events, sharing with family and friends, and personal archiving.

Commercial Use

Commercial use of your song (including but not limited to broadcast, streaming for profit, synchronization with video for commercial distribution, or resale) requires a separate commercial license agreement. Please contact us if you are interested in commercial use.

Song For Life Rights

We retain the right to use non-identifying excerpts or descriptions of our work for portfolio and promotional purposes, unless you request otherwise in writing. We will never share your personal story or identifying details without your explicit written consent.

Confidentiality

We treat all personal stories, memories, and details you share with us as strictly confidential. Your story will not be shared with third parties or used for any purpose other than creating your custom song without your explicit written consent.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Georgia law, Song For Life shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the services in question.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Song For Life from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from your breach of these Terms or your use of our services.

Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Georgia for resolution of any disputes.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Song For Life regarding your use of our services and supersede any prior agreements.
